3-Carat Oval Tulip Basket Ring
This 3-carat lab-grown oval diamond was set in an 18k yellow-gold mounting, designed and built in-house for one of our clients. The tulip head and sculpted basket lift the diamond beautifully while giving the ring a graceful, handcrafted profile.

Care for the Jewelry We Create
Every custom piece we create deserves lasting care. Our clients are welcome to return for ongoing cleaning, inspection, prong checks, refinishing, and maintenance as their jewelry is worn and loved.
Daily Cleaning at Home
Soak your ring in warm water with a few drops of mild dish soap for 20–30 minutes. Use a soft-bristle toothbrush to gently scrub around the setting and prongs, then rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. This simple routine keeps your diamond sparkling between professional cleanings.
When to Take It Off
Remove your jewelry before applying lotions, perfumes, or hairspray, these leave a film that dulls brilliance over time. Take rings off before swimming (chlorine weakens gold alloys), gardening, or any heavy lifting. A little habit goes a long way toward protecting your setting and metal.
Professional Cleaning
For jewelry we create, we recommend an annual professional cleaning and prong inspection. Daily wear can gradually loosen prongs; catching it early helps protect your stones and setting.
Storing Your Jewelry
Store pieces individually in soft pouches or a fabric-lined jewelry box to prevent scratching. Diamonds are the hardest natural material and will scratch other metals and stones if they touch. Keep white gold and platinum pieces separate from yellow gold to avoid color transfer.
Signs Your Ring Needs Attention
If a stone feels loose, a prong looks bent, or the shank feels thinner than usual, bring it in promptly. Small issues caught early are simple to address. Ignored, they can lead to lost stones or structural damage. Trust your instincts: if something feels off, it probably is.
Annual Check-Up
For a piece we designed for you, an annual inspection lets us check prong integrity, metal thickness, and the overall structure. We will clean it and address small changes before they become larger issues.
